Mail Server Settings Changes  Reply with quote

Previously, our mailservers used "mail.DOMAIN.COM" as both the pop3 and smtp server. Starting earlier this week, we changed the way the new mailservers will be handling email. While "mail.DOMAIN.COM" will continue to work, this will only continue to work for about another week. The new settings, which you can and should start using immediately, are as follows:

Incoming mail (POP3): pop.DOMAIN.COM
Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.DOMAIN.COM

(In both examples above, replace DOMAIN.COM with your actual domain name).

No other settings will change; SMTP authentication is still required to send email (The box that says 'My Server Requires Authentication').
